Tour Group Guidelines
DEPOSITS
A deposit of $5.00 per person is required for all group reservations at the time the reservation ismade. Deposits can be issued via check or credit card. Once we receive your deposit, your reservation is guaranteed, and until it is received, there is no commitment in place.
RESERVATIONS
If your reservation is for 30 guests, yet only 25 arrive, you will be charged the meals for the "5" that did not arrive. Reservation counts may be changed up to 48 hours of arrival, after that time, the Tumwater Inn cannot be held responsible for changes that occur regardless of nature. After that no changes will be accepted without management approval, via-FAX, or printable E-Mail (tuminn@www.TumwaterInn.com). The approval slip must accompany the group!
COMPLIMENTARY MEALS
The Tumwater Inn will provide (1) meal if a group has over 20 for it's size, and will provide (2) meals if there is more than 40 in the group size. We cannot provide any complimentary meals for groups smaller than 20 individuals.
TIMELINESS
Groups are required to arrive within 15 minutes of their reservation time. Groups that are late and have not called ahead of time to change their arrival time, will be charged $100.00 for every 30 minutes they are late to offset labor costs and lack of table use for their tardiness and inconsideration.
WEATHER PROBLEMS
From time to time, winter weather can present a problem for a bus, and the group will be late. In these circumstances we will waive late charges as long as the bus calls us ahead of the scheduled arrival time so staff can be notified and scheduling adjustments can be made.
SPECIAL NEEDS
If you have members in your group with special dietary needs, it is your responsibility to notify us not less than 72 hours prior to arrival so that we can accommodate your guests.
